PLAID SHORTS : Very funny article. It is meant to be humourous isn't it? ;o) Loved thepicture you looked like the asylum seekers view of how Brits should dress.(perhaps you mistook that for common dress cause there are so many in Londonnow???). I have also seen professors, academics and teachers dress likethat, I'd hardly call them "fashion conscious".If you are going to London there are no rules as there will be all sortsdressed all ways, however avoid the REAL americanisms:1: Loud clothing especially plaid shorts2: Fat guts hanging over plaid shorts3: Pentax (or similar) perched on Fat Gut.4: Cheap Baseball cap with some US Oil companies name on it (or similarAmerican motor company)The best thing to do is look on the Marks and Spencer website() to find the most up to date "cosmopolitan"casual look for your age group. M&S is a benchmark of THE wear of themiddle class in the UK, not exclusively, but at the moment they are back togetting it pretty much right. They are not everyones taste, but the furthersouth you go in the UK, the more popular they are. Check out their "BlueHabour" look, this is pretty damn close to what 35-45 year olds wear forcasual wear at the moment. Just pick the colours (not loud) for your age.Its that simple.
PLAID SHORTS : Amanda groaned to herself as she pulled into the employee parking lot of the'Happiest Place on Earth' . The radio announcer was nattering on about thisbeing 'the hottest day of the year, so far." The sky was a deep unrelentingblue, tinged with a haze of brown smog and even this early in the day, the vastexpanse of asphalt shimmered in the heat. "Perfect, " she grumbled to herself. "Every yahoo in the city is going to come here today. Why do they wait untilit's 104 in the shade to decide they want to come to Disneyland?" She found aparking spot, grabbed her purse and walked slowly towards the entrance. In thedistance, she could see the massed hordes of tourists lining up to be the firstone to enter when the gates opened. She stuck her tongue out at them, but itdidn't make her feel any better.Once inside, she found her locker, and changed her clothes, transformingherself from the Orange County college freshman into Alice in Wonderland. Sheshucked off the jeans and T-shirt and tugged on the starched white petticoatsthat made her blue dress pouf out all around her. Her long blonde hair, prettyface and big blue eyes had made her a shoo in for the job. She buckled theMary Jane shoes that made her feet hurt by the end of the day, brushed her hairand pouted at the reflection in the mirror. "Well, here goes, Amanda. Let'sget out there and give them what they paid for." PLAID SHORTS : She slipped into the park through the hidden employee's entrance and wanderedout onto Main Street. It was jammed. Crowds of pasty white, badly dressedtourists thronged the street. Small children were already starting to whine astheir parents dragged them along by their grubby little hands. A smartlydressed tour guide, holding a pennant on a long wand, led a group of Japanesevisitors who held the requisite cameras at the ready. Pasting a smile on herface, she threaded her way through them, heading towards the Town Square whereshe would meet her companion for the day. Arriving at the Town Square, she winced as the brass band struck up arelentlessly cheerful song. She sidled up behind the band leader andwhispered, never breaking her smile, "Can't you move somewhere else? I'mnursing a little hangover." He continued to wave his arms, conducting hiscohorts, "Sorry, Missy. I'm here for the day. Boss' orders." "Why me?", shethought to herself, spotting the Mad Hatter and waving to him. She skippedover to meet him, always mindful that hundreds of guests were watching her inher white knee socks and frilly white apron. She hugged the Mad Hatter andsaid into the opening in his costume that served as an ear "Hi sweety. How hotis it inside that thing?" "It makes hell look good, babe", he murmured back toher. She grabbed his hand and they broke into an impromptu little dance forthe crowd that had gathered around them, prancing around until she heard himgroan, "No more, I'm going to pass out in this thing." His costume was huge, with a head the size of Rhode Island and his entire body encased in phony fur. He had limited vision through a screen above his buck teeth and although therewas a tiny fan inside, the heat was stifling. PLAID SHORTS : I'm not so sure about this considering how many time that Donald has hisnephew over his lap. OTOH, it certainly would be true for the*COMMITTEE* that act as Walt. Incidentally, Walt could not work thereis he had a mustache and those are not permitted. Now, you know, I have always thought that that Belle deserved agood OTK for snooping around the Beast's castle, not to mention Snow Whitetaking all the credit for cleaning up the 7 Dwarfs' cottage when we all knowthat the forest creatures did all the work! Great story!Great story! I loved it. And thanks for reminding me that I need to gorenew my annual pass.I remember reading this story before.....but I still loved it!!Laughing! This was one clever fantasy. Not easy to get a real-life spanking ANDthe Mary Janes together in one story. PLAID SHORTS : I was trying to find a way to tone down the color of Medivia. I got on and I might have liked it, but I couldn't take all the magenta and yellow. My screen is blue and reading magenta letters on blue can give you a major headache! I couldn't find any commands to change the color, only turn it on or off. CAN you change it?On Medievia, the command, color will toggle it on and off. Try looking in your term program to set the background to black as it should be, then all of medievia colors will look very good.________________________________________ ___________________________________Mike Krause / INTENSE Software(tm)AKA Vryce at Medievia (bigboy.cis.temple.edu 129.32.32.98 4000) ~/\ /~/ ~~~/ _~ ~/ ~~~/ ~ ~/ ~/ /~| Chaotic/Neutral/Lawfull zones / / _/ / | / _/ | / / /_ | ANSI Color, Clans, Homes_/ _/ ___/ ____/ _/ ___/ _/ _/ _/ _| Dedicated sun&T1 - No Lag100+ Players, Medievia Press, Lockers, Post-Office(objects to)31+Zones, Private GodProof Areas, No Crashes, Quests, 24hour Code QuestsOnline Editing, Online coding, Fully sponsered - we will NEVER leave you.
